Thanks Angelo. The one you’re seeing in your garden is a relative of this Apo Sunbird. We have several kinds of sunbird, but this Apo Sunbird can be found in Mindanao only. Maybe the one from your garden is an Olive-backed Sunbird? Check out this picture here.

OMG!!!! Majestic. I can imagine how thrilling it must have been to be able to see the Philippine eagle close enough to photograph it in flight. WOW.
